BE YOURSELF!

Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.  Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.  - Romans 12:2

     There are a few things I wish people would have really told me when I was a kid.  
1) This Jesus thing is the real deal.  He really knew what He was talking about!
2) Don't worry.  God is really going to take care of you - He knows what He's doing!
3) Don't worry about what other people think.  Just be yourself.  God really made you the way you are for a reason!
     Tony Dungee says it better than I will right now, but the point is the same.  We are who we are!  The sooner we realize that and stop trying to be something we're not, the faster we will learn that God's will for our lives really is good and pleasing and perfect.  
      What do you like?  What are you good at?  DO THOSE THINGS!
      What don't you like?  What are you horrible at?  STOP DOING THOSE THINGS!
      I think it's pretty simple really!
